Nice location. Kind staff most of them at least 😉. Overpriced. No sense cup of tea 8 euro and 10 PCs of raw seafood 100 euro …. Small appetizer 30 euro …. Etc … 🤷🏻‍♂️

Initial review was highly negative. Wrote review in restaurant. Gave feedback to host who was very attentive. She discounted the tab significantly which was appreciated and right thing to do. I give them high mark for listening and trying to rectify.

We were after a nice seafood place and accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant. On first impression the menu looked expensive but it was definitely worth every dollar. The dishes were all very memorable, fresh and delicious! Our Server Emon was friendly, kind and very helpful with the wine menu. Our meal was €200 for 2 people, we had 2 starters, a pasta and a baked fish, plus about 5 glasses of wine.

This was our second time visiting Piro and have been blown away once again by the food and the fantastic service! Having come in 2023 during our honeymoon and now again for our anniversary, both times we had Emon as our server whose recommendations of wine and food made the evening perfect! Thank you once again to the Piro team for a delicious meal and special thanks to Emon!!

Zum zweiten Mal ein perfekter Abend. Das Essen sehr gut , wirklich frischer Fisch und Meeresfrüchte , tolle Zubereitungen , roh und für alle Gänge …. Raffiniert , lecker , optisch wunderschön . Sehr gute Weinkarte und Beratung, offene Weine sehr gut. Ambiente sehr schön , elegant, ruhig . Service sehr gut , freundlich , kompetent , unaufdringlich … Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ok. Und es liegt in einem der schönsten Viertel von Rom !

Definitely treated as tourists (we can't help it!) -- put in a back room out of sight and our waiter was concentrating his efforts on others in the main part of the restaurant. He was very friendly, there just wasn't enough of him to go around. All of the staff were rushing and harried. The food was well prepared but the pacing of the meal and the wait after we asked for the check affected our enjoyment. I would not choose it to order your special seafood dinner with friends.
