Seated within a few minutes of arrival. Delicious food - we had the tagliatelle with spider crab, spaghetti with anchovies and tomato, and the breseola salad. The house wine was lovely. They gave us a complimentary starter and dessert which were both delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Good food, great atmosphere. Very friendly But constant staff trying to take your plates and rush you through, very annoying.

Delicious meal. Great service! We had 7:30 reservations. Arrived a little early and we were seated in 2 minutes. We finished our meal with the housemade limoncello- the best we had on our 10 day trip of Italy. buonissimo!!!

AMAZING! The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Our first meal in Venice and it will be hard to match. The house wine was very good and we (along with everyone else on the night) were treated to complimentary tasters throughout the night including a Devine chocolate cake with grappa at the end and biscotti to take home. Cannot recommend highly enough. The only down side is having to decide what to order. Seafood was cooked to perfection as was the pasta and very generous portions.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienungen und den Speisen. Die Gänge waren sehr schmackhaft. Die Weinkarte bietet für jeden Gaumen höchste Genüsse (Preise weit über und unter 100€). Einziger Makel das Filet war ein Roastbeef.

The food was pretty tasty and lots of gluten free options which were exocuted reasonably well (though I would suggest that the bread should be warmed and the tiramisu lacked decent presentation as it was their GF signature dish). However the service was so rushed we couldn't relax at all and we didn't even have chance to complain or ask them to slow down because they were in such a hurry that the bill arrived during our meal. If we hadn't booked I could vaguely understand as it was very busy. However as we had made a reservation in advance based on reviews of gluten free restaurants then I can't understand why we had 3 courses thrust upon us in under 1 hour and they acted like they were doing us a favour by letting us be there. We had advised the team at booking that it was for our honeymoon and not a mention of it from the staff which was a little annoying as well as you would at least expect a candle lit or a nice seat or a comment about it. Instead we were rushed through the system and feel utterly ripped off. Usually I read these reviews and think why didn't the person complain there and then and resolve the matter? Now I understand as we didn't even have a chance. I think the place has become a victim of its own previous success and my recommendation is....avoid

Excellent dinner. Service was the best. Food was excellent - we had the mixed seafood appetizer, followed by Gnocchi Bolognese and the sauce was yum. The Shrimp is a tomato based sauce was great and they rounded off our meal with a complimentary desert platter which was brilliant. Highly recommend the place.

The service was too fast to enjoy the dinner. I asked a bottle if wine ans was given a 40 euros bottle instead of housewine. Be aware that service IS not included. A touristic place....

Service great. Food great. Very efficient and friendly staff. Gluten free was important to one member of our group and the food was wonderful for them and included dessert! We all loved it- great atmosphere and decor in the original restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Cibo purtroppo abbastanza scadente,pasta fredda e pietanze servite l'una immediatamente dopo all'altra,a testimoniare che erano tutte precotte.Prezzi alti per la qualità di ciò che abbiamo mangiato.Personale però gentilissimo,ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.

Essen war ok, gibt besseres. Die Location war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr hektisch (man hatte den ersten Gang noch nicht fertig gegessen, dann kam schon der nächste).

Unico neo l’attesa lunga che però diventa elemento di distinguo del locale... gli ospiti vengono intrattenuti con vino della casa assaggi in piedi e simpatia... il proprietario con la moglie sono davvero il valore aggiunto ad una cucina comunque buona in un ambiente tipico veneziano. We are sure we would have loved Trattoria al Gazzettino- unfortunately due to the flooding and weather we could not get there...alas, another time. We will return to Venezia!

Was crowded but great food and really fun wait staff...Egyptian band from Germany were in a booth and quietly began playing...try the lobster noodles! Highly recommend!

I booked this restaurant based on the recommendation of the hotel I was staying at. I’m glad I made a reservation as it was very busy! Amazing food and really friendly helpful staff, will definitely come back next time I visit the city.

We visited this restaurant for lunch in May 2018, the service and staff were exceptional! The food was amazing, they gave us plates of food to taste while we decide what to eat! We were so full there was no room for desert, but they still gave us a plate of home made biscuits and cakes to taste paired with a couple of shots of grappa- no charge!! I had to be rolled out of there and down the canal😋 Delicious food great staff and amazing service can’t ask for any more than that! Will definitely revisit when I go back to Venice! X

Delicious food in relaxed atmosphere. Felt a little rushed, courses came quickly and bill arrived unrequited but friendly staff and they brought complimentary drinks and dessert too. Just would have liked to have spent more than just over an hour there.
