Trattoria Der Pallaro

I am so glad that I have dined in Trattoria del Pallaro, the service was great, the food was I guess the best food I tried in Rome, homemade hot and incredibly delicious. We were more than full. It was a lot. The wine was so delicious. We felt as if we were invited to an Italian home dinner. Thank you so much.

I went with my partner who had been there almost ten years ago and raved about this place. It truly was special. I was sad to learn of the owner's passing and that I could not meet her. The evening was absolutely perfect there otherwise!

Tipica Trattoria romana semplice. A Menu fisso composto da un antipasto misto, due assaggi di primi e due assaggi di secondo, dolce e caffè. L’antipasto non era male, la carbonara era buona ( a me è stata servita nella ciotola in un cui è stata girata… non proprio una cosa fine); mentre l’amatriciana non pervenuta ( era una sorta di crema al pomodoro senza rigatino e forse con la panna). L’arista era immangiabile perché risultava pura gomma, non male lo spezzatino. Le dosi non erano abbondanti, abbiamo dovuto richiedere un piatto di spezzatino e comunque con una spesa di 30€ mi sono alzato con la fame. C’è molto di meglio a Roma. La signora gentilissima come pure il servizio.

We were a group of 9 and we had enough food for 12. Every course was amazing and the wine was plentiful. Excellent food and excellent value! Nonna was precious!
