The pasta was amazing, service is spot on and fast, but not pushy at all. The restaurant is set in an ancient building so is very cool.

I first visited this restaurant in 2018 and had the most amazing experience. This time I came back with my family and I was embarrassed because I had talked it up so much. Food and wine menus were given to us and then the waiter came back out and said ‘what do you want to eat’? No question regarding wine/apperitivo. Then pressure pressure about what were EATING!! Very strange behaviour and we felt like he was just being rude on purpose . Had to say can we pleas order some wine after he forced us to order starters. Scampi average and overdone. The order for the rest was tortuous and strange but we eventually ate and it was not as I remember. Eventually the aggressive waiter left and the rest of the staff were nice. I have recommended this restaurant to many people over the last 7 years but will not again.

Local y servicio bién. En general buena materia prima. Pero el jamón excesivamente salado, nos cambian el contorno del pescado sin avisar previamente y por último, al pagar en efectivo, se cobran la propina y desaparece la cuenta.

Lots of 10's despite the staffs slight con fusion upon our arrivel, despite our reservation. Probably the best Spaghetti alle Vongole in Rome! (and I've had a lot of them, i.e. twice a day!) See you - arrivederci!

This was truly a special restaurant for us. We had a reservation, and they were very polite and service was impeccable with our waiter. The food was every bit as good as the host of our air BnB said it would be. I would be happy to go back there again during this trip.

Tourist trap, beware. Food was above average. Wine list did not include year of vintages. Server acted as the appetizer was complimentary from chef, but ended up as 1/3 of the total bill. 97 euro. I would never dine again at a place you can't trust.

We discovered Costanza Hostaria 9 years ago. Definitely one of our favorites in Rome! Food and service is always 100% and Manuel our server was absolutely the best and made the evening even more enjoyable.

Veniamo tutti gli anni da Costanza. La cucina è ottima, il servizio molto cortese e l'atmosfera...beh, chi può dire di aver mangiato in un teatro romano? Consiglio il maialino tenerissimo e, se è stagione, i carciofi alla Giudia.

Our waiter was amazing. My first language is not Italian, the waiter made. My family feel very welcome and included. The food was delicious, beyond description. Well worth the money. Service was fast and efficient. Enough time to really enjoy the food. Lots of little extras that make it special.

Hostaria La Costanza is always my go to place to enjoy roman staples and excellent fish. It is highly recommended especially if you are in Campo di Fiori area.

This place is a gem. Delicious food in a very unique building which is part of an old theater. My parents had eaten here several years ago. They loved it so much they went back a few nights later for a second meal. My dad passed away in 2020 so of course I had to try this place with my husband and my daughter who is currently studying here in Rome. It was everything I had hoped it would be!

Best restaurant we visited in Rome. Service was incredible and food was amazing. To be honest we let the waiter pick our whole meal and it was one of the best we’ve had on our whole trip.

Perfect meal for first time Rome visitors. We might come back again on this trip.
