Ristorante Buca Mario

Ottima bistecca alla Fiorentina. Piatti in generale molto buoni e dolci fatti in casa. personale super gentile e simpatico.

Posto acchiappa turisti stranieri (principalmente americani, di cui ne è piena). Piatti tradizionali senza lode e senza gloria ma pagati carissimo. La mia Fiorentina non era al sangue e la carne non era un granché ne come morbidezza neanche come sapore. L’unica cosa positiva è stato il vino ma non è merito del ristorante. Pagato una follia per quello la qualità o l’originalità di quello che abbiamo mangiato.

This is my second time dining at Buca Mario. The first time was thirteen years ago. Wonderful service and food! Enjoyed the Fettucini with porcini mushroom sauce as well as the curried prawns. My husbands loved the Osso- Buca veal.

Good food and excellent service in a quaint subterranean Florence restaurant. What a charming night we had with a great waiter and very good food. Every item we ordered was delicious. Prices were reasonable and equivalent to a nice American restaurant. We did have to wait in a long line outside for our 7:00 reservation, but once we were seated, service was fast and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

After 15 years visiting Firenze, Buca Mario is our favorite restaurant. The food is the best, authentic Tuscan cuisine in Firenze & the staff and owners make you feel like they are welcoming you to their home. Always an exceptional experience.- Ask for the asparagus, fried egg & truffle dish. Wow!
