A note to North Americans - awesome southern Italian fare, but the menue is VERY heavy on fish and seafood. Also, in Italy, just because a restaurant opens at a particular time, does not mean that it will be able to start serving at that time. We had tickets to the opera and did not plan enough time to ORDER, BE SERVED, and eat. The staff at SlowSud kindly obliged us by rushing the entree after learning of our poor planning; all ended well. We do regret having to rush through the meal and bolt for the theater. Surprisingly to us, besides the divine shrimp TriColore, the side dish that on the menu, did not seem the most exciting, was marvelous! It was a vegetable ragu of squash, aubergine, and other veggies in a tomato-based sauce with a liberal covering of pine nuts. Cannot wait to return.

Location particolare, piatti abbondanti e buoni, personale cortese. Ci ero già stato e ci tornerò!

Delusi dalla caponata perché era bollente di microonde, non c erano i pinoli e c’ erano principalmente carote. La vera caponata siciliana si mangia fredda!

Servizio sempre impeccabile, questa volta mi ha deluso un po' il cannolo: un po' troppo dolce.
