Nice hidden place far away from central tourist roads. Empty in lunchtime. Great service. Some dishes are very tasty. Overpriced.

Great soups and meats (grill). Liver is excellent, one of the best ever. Good wine selection, wonderful grappa. Very limited dolce list.

Third visit over 15 years. The grilled veal was great and the first course of Tuscan toasts with chicken liver was as real food as we hoped for. Our service was very friendly and responsive to our desire to take the evening slow as we wrapped up our visit to Rome.

I first visited the restaurant about 30 - 35 years ago. I was so very impressed with the food and service at that time that I went to an extraordinary effort to find it again and to make an on-line reservation during my visit to Roma this week. The food was as good as I remembered but the service was abysmal. My wife and I were all but ignored during our visit. We had an interminable wait to order. Mean while others who arrived after we did were promptly attended and served. I doubt that I will ever be back and I will certainly STOP recommending the place to anyone I know coming to Roma. Returned to Giarrosto Toscano after an absence of 34vyears. We have fond memories of our first visit and were hoping for the same. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointedwith the service and dishes we ordered. The caprese and caesar salads were great but the primi course of spaghetti and mussels was very salty. The restaurant remade the dish but it was only slightly better. Next, the secondi of veal marsala also had a salty taste as did the asparagus. Towards the end of our dinner, we were getting table service by the host not our waiter and then we waited over 20 min to have our dirty dishes removed. All in all sadly disappointing.

Food was excellent, hot food hot cold food cold. Waiter took order someone delivered no interaction with waiter until I ask for the check. Never checked on us? Surprised since the wait staff is normally very attentive. Been dining at this restaurant many times food always good. This is first time service less?.

Siamo in due. Prima sorpresa, menù di Natale come unica opzione, coi prezzi moltiplicati da 2. Antipasto vergognoso (salumi di cattiva qualità, melone duro servito con la mozzarella insipida e secca) che arriva 10mn prima degli spaghetti alla carbonara della seconda persona. quando cominciamo a mangiare, il secondo piatto arriva! Si vede che hanno fretta di ritornare a casa. Quando protesto, mi si propone di custodire il secondo piatto al caldo! Totale 120 € per una cena a dimenticare ed un ristorante a mettere sull'elenco nero

Excellent service.. we are just visiting Italy. Being tired after going around in the morning, it’s just a very nice place to rest whilst waiting for our food, staff are courteous, warm and friendly. Food’s excellent, from their pasta to the Florentine steak. Eccellente!!

Ottima carne.Locale un po austero ma pulito e personale serio. Non consigliato per una clientela giovane . Adatto a cene di lavoro perche ll'ambiente non è rumoroso. Prezzi all'altezza della qualità.

Everything was great. Attentive service, great food, close to the hotel. We were a last minute large group that they were able to accommodate quickly. They started us off with their recommended appetizers. We were pretty much full just from that. Would come again.

Molto bene, we enjoyed our experience very much. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. A fine Tuscan restaurant conveniently located near our hotel.

Terrible. Food was fine, service was very poor. Felt like they didn’t even want us there, rude and ignorant. Final straw was then they added a couple of euros here and there onto the dishes on the bill. Eg the wine was 26 euros, they put 28 on the bill, food should have been 16 euros each, they charged 18 each on the bill. Couldn’t be bothered to argue it.... but then, short changed us by 10 euros with our change!!!! Avoid- rip off merchants.

Non capivo perché di sabato sera il ristorante era vuoto dopo aver mangiato mi è stato tutto chiaro.Antipasto da agriturismo scadente prezzi maggiorati e servizio pessimo.

Service was promt, efficient and very Warm. Excellent steak. Large wine list. Good ambience and good locación. It seemed everybody was happy. Price resulted ok.
