I wanted to love this place. Our hotel recommended it for my 40th birthday dinner. While the food was very good, our server was beyond rude. We mentioned it was my birthday and he was immediately annoyed when we asked for dinner recommendations. He then picked up our plates without asking if we wanted dessert. Far from a memorable experience on such a milestone day.

atmosphere is very good, but food was very disappointing. For example, tomatoes were not ripe and lacked flavour in caprese salad - every other restaurant in Italy served us ripe and delicious tomatoes. There were hardly any artichokes in the main course which was listed as steak and artichokes.

The restaurant was recommended by a local and has a good rating on Google and I don’t really know why. The food wasn’t bad, but it was nothing special. I found it largely overpriced. We service wasn’t great and I don’t recommend the house wine. On that day, we had a lunch in a place that was nicer, cheaper, tastier and were the service was impeccable. Although the Google rating was lower. In Rome, a Google ratings really doesn’t mean much… On the pictures the atmosphere looked romantic so we picked the restaurant for a date night. Unfortunately not all the restaurant’s areas have this romantic flair. And it looks like locals and tourists are kind of separated. We ended up in a cantine style room with no charm, quite noisy, with other fellow tourists. I don’t recommend this place. The place were we went for lunch was Trattoria Tritone 1884.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing service by Roberto, he had great suggestions on food and wine. Close to historic city center in Rome. Glad we chose this restaurant for lobster pasta.

They immediately addressed special food restrictions we requested. Server was fluent in at least two languages, friendly and put us at ease immediately. He did not force any courses or frown upon us skipping dessert. Additionally, he was able to recommend a 1/2 bottle from the menu that was similar to Sauvignon Blanc. Food temperature was perfect. They were out of green beans and were able to substitute broccoli as we chose the preparation type.

Siempre es un clásico en Roma y vamos allí a cenar todos los años desde hace muchísimo tiempo. El sitio es precioso y está en un lugar histórico evocador, la calidad de los alimentos y de las materias primas es impecable, no bajando su nivel en apenas ningún plato. Además, el servicio es profesional, simpático y muy amable. En la Hostario Constanza el alma de Roma te llega te llega en un punto cercano a donde asesinaron a Cesar.

Único punto no cómodo fue que nos pusieron en una mesa pequeña muy muy cerca de las demás y era difícil sentarse ya que teníamos a los demás comensales literalmente muy muy cerca encima y para entrar a la mesa y mover la silla era incomodo

La qualità e la bontà del cibo è molto alta, l'ambiente è affascinante ed il servizio e la cortesia del personale è stata eccezionale. Quando capiterò nuovamente a Roma, sia per vacanza che per lavoro, tornerò sicuramente in questo ristorante per una cena piacevole e gratificante.
