La Badessa

We tried booking online but could only get a table for 2pm. We hadn’t realised the restaurant closed at 2:30pm. The food was excellent but the service, although very friendly, was a bit rushed. This was a shame as we would have liked to be less rushed

Nous étions venus pour le menu spécial "truffe". Or, une fois installés, on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de menu truffe, même s'il était bien indiqué sur le site internet du restaurant, sans s'excuser pour autant. Comme l'accueil était déjà juste aimable sans plus, nous sommes repartis.

It was our second time at La Badessa and it did not let us down. Again. We went for the set Piemonte menus, which were superb - delicious. We will be back, all the way from Scotland!

Wir saßen im Freien, dafür war der Lautstärkeregler normal. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut, sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Optik her. Dafür hätte man woanders deutlich mehr bezahlen müssen. Trotz des sehr guten Besuchs war die Küche schnell, die Bedienungen blieben auch bei flotter Arbeit gelassen und freundlich.

Cibo ben presentato, ma nulla di eccezionale. Per i prezzi del menù mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Eccellente il servizio al tavolo.
