Enjoyed a great meal. My wife and I shared the meatballs for antipasto. We both got premi and secondi which were both great. The focaccia tasted like it was homemade, not sure if it was though. All in all a great experience.

We eat at San Giorgio every time that we come to Rome. This is usually four or even five times. Everything about this place is excellent from the welcome to the service, the atmosphere and of course the food. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Eines der wenigen römischen Restaurants "wie es sich gehört". Tischdecken und Servietten aus Stoff. Service freundlich und korrekt. Nicht von Touristen überlaufen. Römische Küche hoher Qualität und ordentliche Portionen. Nicht gerade billig, aber dafür bekommt man eben Qualität und Service. Zum Lautstärkepegel: natürlich wird es, wenn es voller ist, etwas laut. Das ist in allen Restaurants so.

It was a very pleasant dinner. The place was full, but the service was very fast, with kindness and attention to detail. They gave us good advice on the wine. The food was of a very good standard, with tasty and abundant portions. The gilthead sea bream was truly exquisite. Very recommendable restaurant.

Our fourth visit to San Giorgio, a restaurant that is fast becoming a highlight of our visits to Rome. The food is beautifully prepared and presented. Our visits coincided with the funghi porcini season. Food Heaven. A relaxed atmosphere with attentive and welcoming staff. We are already looking forward to Christmas in Rome and more delicious food at San Giorgio.
