A buzzing place, good food and views of the thunderstorm .

Great owner , very friendly , even better the waitress from Sicily , beautiful but dangerous , only kidding . This is a great restaurant . I had the freshest grilled octopus, cooked simply but brilliantly! The cannoli was perfect and the pasta perfect ! A nice Sicilian White Wine and we were in Heaven !! Tom and Theresa

Friendly service and good food. Not too pricey. Some slightly different dishes such as tuna with sweet and sour sauce and aubergine parmigiana.

The manager is very friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome. Unfortunately it feels like a tourist restaurant with no locals.

Great food! The seafood carpaccio was excellent.The sicilian style fish was great as well.The service was fantastic.The owner was so friendly that you think you have known him long time ago. Very strong recommended...

L’Incontro had avery welcoming atmosphere. Nice staff, however I was not overly impressed by the food, but the wine was nice. Beautiful view. A friendly place!

Our third visit to this lovely restaurant. Once again, it didn’t disappoint - and both staff and owners are very friendly and attentive. The food is lovely, and we will definitely return when we travel to Taormina next time!

A comfortable space with a welcoming hostess. We unfortunately both ordered Involtini's, one Vitello and one Spada and found them to be disappointing. The flavor was completely dominated by the breadcrumbs and lacked those little nuggets of flavor that we hoped for.

Celebratory dinner for hubby and me on our wedding anniversary...read the reviews on trip advisor, very close to our hotel, interesting local menu. It more than met our expectations- great welcome, friendly service, delicious food. Will definitely be on our list of revisits when next on Taormina.

Lovely and friendly place! The octopus, the Aubergine Parmigiana and the seafood linguini were delicious. We could highly recommend this place. Small tip: only order the gnocchi if you’re seriously hungry!!

Traditional restaurant with efficient staff and tasty dishes. The stuffed sardines were great as was the macaroni with sausage and fennel. Near the cable car.

We adored the food and the jovial service. The gnocchi were fabulous. It was a favorite meal and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Easy to get to also.

Best meal we had in Sicily, better than Timeo which we went to for my husbands 60th birthday. The staff is so warm and friendly, you feel like you are at an Italian home. Wonderful experience!!

The restaurant, wothout request, kindly decorated our perfect table for my girlfriend's 60th birthday and served a welcomin prosecco to help mark the occasion. Cuisine was superb with the polippo, pasta with an almond pesto, baked sea. Ass with herbs and an almond crust, and impossibly moist cassata the standouts. Highly recommend!

Our meal and service were outstanding! Thank you Tony for making our 25th anniversary dinner such a special occasion. A highlite was the seafood appetizer, the gnochi and the lamb dish. And, of course, the red wine was perfect. A dinner to remember!!

Wonderful food! The owner and his wife are superb hosts and make you feel very welcome. Excellent lamb chops and heavenly gnocchi with shrimp and pistachios.

We saw two couples walking out of L'Incontro and being nosy New Yorkers we hit them up for their opinions of the place. They were from the Midlands of England and real friendly. They said it was great so the next day we tried it for lunch. Teresa and I shared an octopus app and when I got up to use the head. I passed by the open kitchen and saw what looked like lasagna on the counter . I asked Tony the owner he said it was egg plant parmagian. I ordered it as a second app. Man like grandma would make! octopus A++ eggplant A++ ravioli A++. Tony the host really kind and made us feel welcome. I generally don't do reviews but L'Incontro was fantastic don't go for the view go for the food !! These guys can cook !!
