The pasta I ordered was served undercooked. However, once I started eating it, there was nothing to complain about, so I unfortunately chewed it all up. Four slices of sourdough bread cost €4. Wines that cost €3-4 in the supermarket start at €25. I've eaten amazing sauces with grilled salmon in different parts of the world, but here, unfortunately, it was served with chopped basil mayonnaise sauce and grated red cabbage with plenty of salt. It was only 20% full on a Saturday evening, but considering the price-quality ratio, it's a 4.5/6.

The best meal we’ve had in Rome so far in our vacation.

Food was great, most of the staff were friendly, some were just neutral-not friendly but not rude.

The restaurant down the street had a VERY roudy crowd that seemed pretty drunk. They only got quiet when they were eating. Not Peppone's fault but really spoiled the outdoor dining for me. Still the Rigatoni alla Gricia made the night-- despite the rude custromers at the next restaurant down the street.

We loved everything about our dinner. Service we excellent and very personable. All the staff were friendly. All of our courses were absolutely delicious. The ravioli was exceptional. Despite a hot evening, we decided to dine outside and it was very pleasant. We will certainly return.

Best restaurant in town for the classics - The four Roman pasta dishes (Cacio e Pepe, Gricia, Amatriciana and Carbonara) are done to perfection. They are masters of a tasty Saltimbocca and even have home-baked cakes of family recipes.

Nota di merito particolare per la toilette: eccellente per pulizia, ergonomia, arredi, benefit (sapone liquido, salviette, etc.) ed illuminazione ambientale come in hotel da 4*.

This is a neighborhood gem. They reliably deliver excellent renditions of all the classic Roman dishes. The atmosphere is refined but comfortable. The service is great. We ordered artichokes a la Romana which melted in my mouth, Amatriciana pasta (they use buccatini, my favorite) and a wonderfully light fresh fish baked with a crust of finely cut potato slices. Healthy and delicious.
