We had a reservation and asked to he seated outside, which was quickly accomofated. Wonderful dinner. Staff was excellent and attentive. Suggested a bottle of wine that we thoroughly enjoyed. We recommended to our traveling companions.

Unfortunately, our waitress barely said hello and thank you. We did not feel welcome. It was very said. Unlike all of our other dining experiences throughout Rome. Praying for this restaurant. Food was ok at best.

Fantastic restaurant. Every dish we had were outstanding. Service is warm and efficient without being efficient. You can tell this is a family run business and the owner takes pride in their service and dishes. A real gem.

La donna dai capelli neri era molto gentile. Tuttavia, gli altri membri dello staff non ci hanno nemmeno guardato negli occhi e ho sentito che ci stavano discriminando come asiatici. Questo ristorante non è consigliato ai giapponesi a meno che non vi siano donne dai capelli neri. Anche se il cibo era davvero delizioso, c'erano molti membri del personale che ci trattavano in modo volgare.

Ottimo! Servizio veloce, camerieri simpatici e disponibili. Cibo buono e prezzi adeguati. Una tipica trattoria con piatti della cucina romana. Consigliato, infatti ci sono ritornata più volte!

It was our last night in Rome so my wife, son and I thought we would give Taverna Dei Monti a try after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately our server made us wait 20 minutes before taking our order. He tended to two other tables that were seated after us and served them food even before taking our order. When he finally took our order, my wife asked about the lamb. He recommended the roasted lamb over the grilled lamb chops so we ordered the roasted lamb. After 30 minutes they brought us pasta carbonara by mistake. They acknowledged the mistake and promised to bring us the roasted lamb. We waited 20min more only for them to serve the most overly cooked meat in history which was completely dry and inedible. This was a complete disaster of a dinner and unfortunately the worst experience of our vacation.

Wir hatten vegetarische Antipasti, Risotto mit Garnelen, Lasagne und verschiedene Schwertfisch-Varianten. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war liebevoll zubereitet. Der weiße Hauswein war wenig komplex aber ließ sich ebenfalls sehr gut trinken. Eine urban-urige Atmosphäre mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service bei fairen Preisen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

The staff was friendly and the food was okay. The ambiance and the location is not that good, I would not advice to go there if you just stay 2 or 3 days. There are far more special and authentic places to eat. It was ordinary.

Nous avons fait plein de restaurants et pour le dernier soir avons réservé celui ci, il n'est définitivement pas bon. Le service est médiocre et les pâtes aux champignons immangeables. Ce n'est pas une adresse que nous recommandons.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight at La Taverna dei Monti…. perhaps the best lasagna we’ve ever had, and we’ve had a lot! Delicious minestrone with rice soup and panna cotta, too. The service was friendly and attentive and prices were very reasonable for the quality. We have already reserved another night for dinner.
