Siamo venuti in questa trattoria sotto consiglio di altri ristoratori e ci siamo trovati veramente bene ! La “ciccia” è davvero ottima, il personale ed il proprietario sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Se volete mangiare una fiorentina DOC, questo è il posto giusto.

This was a fantastic dinner! So far this was the best dining experience of our trip to Italy. A gentleman checked in on us a few times. The food was delicious. And, there were no unexpected/hidden charges. We were very pleased!

Trattoria tipica fiorentina, a 2 passi da piazza Santa Croce. Ci sono già stato varie volte, e mi sono sempre trovato molto bene. Ambiente molto gradevole, cibo veramente molto buono con un personale veramente carino, gentile e molto solare. Sempre una garanzia

Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurden wurden wir in einem Nebenraum platziert, der ausschließlich von lauten Touristen besetzt war. Aber das war nur der auftakt. Die “antipasti di mare” bestanden nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben aus “cozze & vongole” sondern ausschließlich aus cozze. Wir bekamen nicht die 2 bestellten antipasti, sondern gemischte antipasti di mare für 2 Personen, was mengenmäßig viel zu viel war. Daraufhin versuchten wir direkt eine der Hauptspeise nun abzubestellen (kurz gegrillten Fisch) und bekamen die Antwort, dass das Essen bereits zubereitet sei (obwohl wir gerade erst die Vorspeisen bekommen hatten). Der gegrillte octopus war verbrannt und dadurch bitter, der Schwertfisch wurde in verbrannter Butter serviert. Unsere Beschwerde wurde entgegengenommen und der okctopus von der Rechnung gestrichen. Kaum waren wir zuhause setzten schreckliche Magen-Darm Krämpfe und Erbrechen ein und wir litten die Nacht und den nächsten Tag unter Übelkeit und starken Kopfschmerzen.
