I have celiac disease and this restaurant came highly recommended in a gluten free Italy travel group on Facebook. I made a reservation on our first night in Florence to ensure we had a table for a couple days later and I’m glad I did. The people on either side of us were back for their second or more return visit to the restaurant and if we had more time in the city I would love to come back and try more of the menu. I’m so grateful to have gluten free food available, especially when it tastes this good!

We had a wonderful meal which includes the friendly, attentive wait staff. It will be a great memory of Firenzi where food=love.

We first came to Ciro & Sons 20 yrs ago and fell in love with the food and staff. Now it's even better, even more amazing food choices and such a fun staff. Sammy Hagar (Giuseppe) makes all feel special and welcome. We will come every time we're in Florence!!

I won’t miss a stop to Ciro and Sons any time I am in Rome. It is, by far, the best gluten free restaurant. I love not having to worry. The food is awesome, the place is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful!!

Un vrai régal !!! Les pizzas version sans gluten sont vraiment au-delà de délicieuses et le tiramisu sans gluten excellent ! Le service est un peu long et dommage que tous les plats n’arrivent pas en même temps mais c’est un détail tant c’est bon. Alex était très sympathique et parlais français ce qui a facilité la commande. Le cadre est très sympa même si un peu bruyant mais bon c’est Florence ! Je recommande sans hésitation ! Pensez à réserver !!!

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They gave me gluten free bread with my meal and it was so delicious I almost cried. Everything on the menu can be made gluten free and lactose free. There’s nothing like this in the U.S.

We had the gluten free pasta Carnonara and Pasta Nerano. My husband said it was one of the best Carbonara pasta’s he’s had. We also shared the gluten free Calamari fritti which was delicious. Even though the restaurant was very busy our waiter Alex was very attentive.

A good experience overall. Excellent gluten-free pizza dough, but the pizza was so full of mozzarella and any other topping was hard to find. Couldn’t finish it in the end.

The serving sizes were generous and the taste of the pizzas was sensational. Make sure you specify gluten-free if you need it. GF meals are made in a separate kitchen and come out on a different patterned plate and with a GF label so you have no worries :) Deserts were also delicious. Service was good, staff very friendly, and meals came out quickly.

This was a return visit for us after a lunch at Cairo and Sons on our last European trip (from Australia) five years ago. We were sorry not to see the seafood pizza (the one we considered the best gf pizza in the world!) on the menu that we had all that time ago but we still enjoyed our choices and had a great night. The gluten free options were fabulous too!

Tourist trap. 99% clients are tourists, mostly American. Very low quality of food. The staff is very nice and the place is very beautiful but the style is falsely chic, with the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever tried in my life.
