It was like a fast food place with food produced well before it was served. Abbacchio al romano was tough, dry and close to unedible. We can not recommend this place at all! Typical tourist trap.

The setting was beautiful. The service was very good! I was excited to try the fried artichokes and fried squash blossoms as they are unique to this district. They were good, but much like other fried veges. The veal was good but not great. The red house wine was very nice and I liked their baklava with coconut. Unique and delicious. It was a lovely evening.

We had an amazing dinner at Il Giardino Romano. Started with one Carciofo Alla Giudia to share - and wished we had ordered one each. Lasagna Con Carciofo and gnocchi Al pesto were great first courses plates. We enjoyed the couscous and Eggplant Parmesan as second courses. Would definitely return if we had another night.

Came here for the artichokes. We had the plate with 3 different types. Excellent! Overall food was tasty & the service was wonderful. We wanted for nothing. Friendly staff. I recommend dining here.

First dinner in Rome at super friendly restaurant. On the street watching people go by. Sweltering even at night but an outdoor kept me cool. Speciality artichokes dishes were amazing. As was carbonara. Highly recommended

We tried osso buco and grilled lamb chops. Osso buco meat was tough and there was almost no meat on the bone, I would say that there was only bone in tomato sauce. The lamb cutlets consisted manly of bones and fat. We left very disappointed and as hungry as arrived.

Nonostante avessimo prenotato per tempo ci hanno riservato un tavolo da avventori dell'ultimo minuto, praticamente sulla porta di ingresso. Antipasti buoni, primi assolutamente non all'altezza, in particolare la pasta con i carciofi insipida ed annacquata come se fosse stata preparata con carciofi congelati. Cameriere scostante. Non torneremo.

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen und der Service war sehr freundlich!! Vor allem natürlich die Artischocken sind empfehlenswert und auch der Nachttisch war ein Traum (ein Mix aus verschiedenen kleinen warmen Kuchen). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall und wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen!
