OMG my husband and I shared the Steak Florentine and as someone who orders steak cooked medium, I LOVED this! The tiramisu was the best we had in Italy (and we had a lot!), and overall just amazing!

Bella atmosfera e locale, Fiorentina per 2 un po’ deludente, molto gommosa in alcuni punti, ma forse eravamo noi a non essere abituati a mangiare carne molto al sangue. Consiglio bistecca singola per chi lo prova per la prima volta.

Troppo affollato troppo turistico e troppo caro per una fiorentina che non era nemmeno un granché. Di questo ristorante avevo un ricordo migliore......non credo ci tornerò

Make reservations because it gets full with locals and tourists!! Lovely setting, friendly staff. Food was delicious: insalata di fresh artichokes, lamb chops, Nonna lasagna, mix fried veggies and tiramisu!! and a bottle of delicious wine.

Best steak I have ever had and I’ve had steak all over the world! Seriously, we had a party of 7 with diverse appetites. We had everything from the Florentine T-bone for one to some really delicious lasagna and and vegetarian dishes. Great sides and a really nice Brunello. The service? Wow!

This is simply a tourist trap. The food is of average quality for an good Florence restaurant. The price relative to the food is not worth the cost. We have had much better food for far less cost in at many other Florence Restaurants. Dont fall for tourist traps.

We were seated right away which was great and served two glasses of Champaign very nice thereafter went downhill very fast Our first course was a cheese plate very simple to serve yet other patrons were served before us by 20 min till I asked our waiter where was are dish. The same thing with our two main courses others arrived after us and were served their steaks before us as well not one but two tables. We were ready to leave because of the dismal service and as I stated to walk out to the head waiter the dinners were served. This was our 50th wedding anniversary and such a disappointment as to the quality of service not what we expected I would not recommend to those that expect excellent service I could have done better at a local tavern Much improvement is needed Sorry you were such a disappointment

We had a great time at Buca Mario. The food was delicious, the waiter was nice. They do not rush you at all even though the restaurant is always busy. The owner also comes around to talk to everyone which is always a nice touch, means they care about their guests. Would definitely recommend making a reservation.

Ottimi i piatti; grandioso il servizio, dell'accoglienza da parte della titolare, alla gentilezza e disponibilità dei camerieri. L'ambiente è molto caratteristico. I prezzi, abbastanza alti, sono comunque in linea con la tipologia del locale.
