Fantastic meal and service the best by far for our whole European trip. The florentine steak and sides were amazing. The best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted.

Older building so acoustics were not good for a special occasion.

The wine was fabulous, though noticeably priced a bit higher than other Italian restaurants in. Florence for the same bottles. The food was outstanding we had the calamari (as an appetizer) wonderful and the gnocchi, the sea bass De-boned table-side, the lamb chops and the pasta with truffles. All were amazing!! Only complaint was not enough water service! Highly recommend!

Food arrived way too soon, as we were expecting a leisurely dinner, yet the couple next to us, who ordered before us, were never served until after we were done eating! And our lasagne was barely warm, should have been hot! I’m sure your waiters are well trained, but the service was strangely sketchy

The service was excellent and food delicious. We had the salad with Buffala cheese and fried sea food for starters, The pasta with truffle 10+!! Beef with rosted potatoes 10, all desserts were perfect 10+. The decor very traditional. The temperature was hot evethough is november. Excellent dinning experience overall!

The quality and dining experience has gone downhill over the past few years and I would not return. Twice the cost of a similar meal at other restaurants in Florence and the experience was like eating in a food factory. It's unfortunate that a good restaurant turned into a tourist trap.

The waitstaff are beyond professional, the food outstanding I would warn anyone that takes on the Florentine steak to skip the appetizer and secondi. You’re going to need the room.

We had the very best time and ate the very best food at Buca Mario. Everything about it was great! And the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!
