We enjoyed the authentic Roman cooking, saltimbocca and Osso bucco. Both dishes were nicely flavoured and the meat tender. This made a welcome change to the pizza and pasta we have mostly eaten here. We had an inside table and appreciated the air conditioning. A good memory of Rome to take away

The dinner started poorly as we were not given a good table even though 3/4 of the tables were empty. The ambience was spoiled by a large noisy group of patrons. Most important, the meal was not good. The veal was the consistency of cardboard and tasted the same. My pasta with seafood contain two shrimps and two small clams. Would definitely not recommend the restaurant.

Fantastic food. Truffle dishes are definitely the pick. If you want fantastic pasta, truffle, this is well worth a visit

This is our favorite restaurant this week in Rome. We live in Texas and are staying at the Albergo Senato hotel next to the Pantheon. Our sister and boyfriend joined us. They are from New York City. We all LOVED the salad, zucchini flowers, Calamari, fresh sea bass, spaghetti with pepper and black truffles!

La comida deliciosa. Volvería siempre para comer. La atención al principio fue mala. Teníamos resevacionn10:30. El restaurante nos tenía apuntados 9:30 y nos hicieron malos modos para atender. Y habían apagado la freidora. Después ya nos atendieron bien y estuvieron atentos a nuestras necesidades. Solo recomendaría nunca tratar así al clientes en la primera impresión. Saludos

Le rapport qualité prix est une blague! Une assiette de pâtes au beurre de la grand mère 20e... les plats sont bons mais c'est la nourriture simple, fait maison. Et pourtant les prix dépassent bcp d italiens étoiles... (exemple: risotto à la truffe blanche - 50e dans la carte...). L impression que j ai eu est que c était un resto typique pour escroquer les chinois... Le service tres simple et gentil.

piazzato in una zona romantica di Roma, vicino Piazza Navona, accanto alla bella chiesa di Sant'Agostino e di fianco allo studio-laboratorio del mitico maestro Codognotto, scultore del legno, questo ristorantino a conduzione cordialmente familiare, vi offrirà una cenetta indimenticabile. (a pranzo sono sempre chiusi ). Vi propongono tre menù distinti : uno con una decina delle più tradizionali ricette romane, uno con proposte tutte impostate al tartufo bianco d'Alba, ed uno con preparazioni a base di tartufo nero pregiato di Norcia. Sul tavolo un cestino di fette di pane rustico al formaggio ed all'uva sultanina, cotto in casa, semplicemente ottimo ! In attesa del primo, un assaggio di deliziosi delicatissimi fiori di zucca ed una bella bottiglia di vino rosso dei Castelli romani. Per primo, tortelli di castagne cremolati, di pasta fatta in casa, sommersi di tartufo bianco, a dir poco eccezionali. Di secondo, su un letto di cappelle di porcini crudi tagliati finissimi, un gustoso filetto ricoperto di formaggio fuso ed ovviamente asperso anch'esso di tartufo bianco. Per dessert, una coppa di crema chantilly con tre mini babà al rum. Una cena deliziosa .

Ambiente accogliente, cucina eccellente, servizio attento. L'unico motivo per cui non posso dare il massimo dei voti è perché nessun tipo di pesce era disponibile nel menu il venerdì.

Simona makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Her truffle experience makes you appreciate white or black truffles at a level I have never seen. It is a rare treat!

Lovely restaurant on the Via del Pianellari. Food is excellent, all made in the restaurant even the bread which is delicious. The owner and staff very welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Tutto fantastico. Abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza gentile. Il cibo era perfetto. In particolare, ci piaceva il pane, fatto in casa dallo chef, il marito dell'oste. Speriamo di tornare ancora una volta.

A very good choice recommended by Quandoo! A local restaurant with a very relaxing, casual and friendly atmosphere. The quality of food is of a very high level, very much like a home made food: both risotto and pasta were very delicious and wine adequate.

Such wonderful osso buco, gnocchi and risotto and as was the case 13 years ago, Simone was charming! We will come again next time we are in Rome.
