Service was to fast for such an expensive meal we were in and out in 30 min with desert ! the streak only cooks rare hard for me to eat it! Asparagus and truffle potatoes were good. I had a higher expectation for $230

Definitely book. It’s very busy but lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing although Bistecca for 3 could have served 5. Our family of 5 had an amazing meal. Grazie Mille🙏

This was my 3 visit to Buca Mario in 5 past years. I come there for a famous Florentine steak. But this time the steak was too dry and unappetizing. I won’t be eating there anymore.

Federico and the entire staff are warm and gracious. It feels like visiting family to walk into the restaurant. It is the best food we have had in all of Italy.

Personale squisito, camerieri gentilissimi e simpaticissimi. Parto con una premessa, sono arrivato in questo posto con delle aspettative altissime, soprattutto per alcuni video visti su YouTube che mostravano la qualità della bistecca. Ovviamente abbiamo ordinato quella, ma quando è arrivata era già gelida. Ma la cosa peggiore non è stata questa ma il fatto che la carne fosse veramente difficile da masticare e da tagliare. Un'esperienza veramente deludente.

Abbiamo passato una piacevole serata, personale cordiale e simpatico. Antipasti molto buoni e carne FAVOLOSA.

The food was great. I probably had the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life. My partner had the papardelle with chingale, which was also very good. The Tiramisu for dessert was not the best one I’ve had since it had bits of chocolate. It’s all about ones preference. House wine was great. Only English speaking people as guest and the staff gave us an English menu right away. Takes away the authenticity a bit.

Everything was great. However we were seated in the back right room and it was extremely loud. We could not even hear the people at our table talk to one another. Do not mind spending the money for the food. However, the noise level is a huge negative about the overall experience.

A most lovely experience. The dining experience in the upstairs dining room was so intimate and special. As we like to say, making memories and this memory with Roberto and staff ranks among the top 10 in our lifetime!
