Fun atmosphere and amazing food. It is very crowded so not a lot of interaction with the wait staff. Would recommend!

Loud, hot, full of tourists, no personal service, too many tables for one waiter. Probably best not to seat people at 935 take an order at 950 and then say the kitchen will close in 10 minutes if you want any other food. Really disappointing and unfortunately didn’t live up to the hype! Food was ok, but had better at Mariones for lunch both today and yesterday!

We feel so fortunate to have experienced an evening at this restaurant! The dinner was outstanding (which included Florentine steak), and the service was excellent. They were ready for us perfectly on time with our reservation which is impressive considering how busy they are at all times. Buca Mario came highly recommended to us, and just as we were told, it did not disappoint. It was a highlight to our visit to Florence!

La cucina era eccellente, i prezzi erano alti ma la qualità gastronomica era elevata. Tuttavia, nonostante il servizio fosse adeguato e attento, l'atmosfera frenetica dei camerieri era palpabile. "Lanciavano" piatti in giro per il tavolo. Correvano in continuazione e si urlavano addosso.

We were so happy to go back to Boca Mario, a restaurant we have been to before. Sadly, this trip was disappointing.Over-crowded, lack luster service, servers looking to turn tables over quickly. Food was only ok.

The staff felt very judgy. Both my lasagna and my fiance's pasta were served cold. The wait time wasn't too long, but the food was still cold. That can't be a good sign.

Great experience! My husband and I shared gorgonzola gnocchi, Florentine steak and mashed potatoes and everything was so good! Honestly if you have two people the steak for one is enough if your sharing other food. I highly recommend!

Quando si passa a Firenze e si riesce a stare fuori per cena, è consigliato fermarsi a Buca Mario per esperienza eccellente. Cucina ottima e servizio al tavolo un vero plus.
