Velavevodetto was an outstanding experience; the food was incredibly good and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We were particularly interested in the carbonara and the manager brought us in to the kitchen so we could see it being made. I don't imagine we'll be able to create anything as wonderful, but we will certainly give it our best shot! It was a really memorable evening and we will definitely return any time we are in Rome.

Ottimo il poker di paste romane (amatriciana, gricia, carbonara e cacio&pepe, in particolare le ultime due) uniche due pecche: 1) usare lo stesso formato di pasta, i rigatoni, per le prime 3; 2) portare tutte le paste insieme, in caso di degustazione alcune si raffredderanno. Molto buono il tiramisù. Buona la carta dei vini. Posizione del locale comoda.

Excellent food, especially carbonara (one of the best I ever had) in a beautiful square, one of the most beautiful in Prati.

This is our second visit. We liked the pasta at the last time better, but we still like to visit again whenever we are in Rome.

We were late for our booking, but the team were so helpful in getting us a new table and making sure we could still order in time before the kitchen closed. The food was delicious, real proper Roman cuisine, simple menu everything done perfectly. The wine recommendation was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

The waitstaff was not responsive they brought our meals to the wrong table then to us half of the meat fishes were cold and the pasta was over cooked. I came with great expectations and left with greater fuss appointment.

Other than the initial impression, when I was not greeted with a less than welcoming manner, I enjoyed the dinner. I was shown a less than an optimal table, but after persisting, I got a somewhat better table. Anyway, it appeared that this room was destined for foreign visitors, even though later in the evening there was a large table, in a higher level area in this room, with what looked like special guests of the owner. Since I speak a reasonable Italian and like to think of myself as a member of this country, I truly dislike getting the tourist treatment. Luckily, our waiter was extremely pleasant and the food was tasty. I wanted to show my wife some Roman dishes, and this was a good place for this purpose. On the way out I had a nicer experience, as I had a nice chat with a lady who appeared to oversee the kitchen operations.
