Cacio e pepe nella norma, fettuccine pomodoro e basiico modeste, cacio al forno pressoché insapore, ceci e baccalà dove quest'ultimo era un lontano ricordo, polpette di bollito buone ma accompagnate dalle peggiori patare al forno mai assaggiate, una delusione

Other than the initial impression, when I was not greeted with a less than welcoming manner, I enjoyed the dinner. I was shown a less than an optimal table, but after persisting, I got a somewhat better table. Anyway, it appeared that this room was destined for foreign visitors, even though later in the evening there was a large table, in a higher level area in this room, with what looked like special guests of the owner. Since I speak a reasonable Italian and like to think of myself as a member of this country, I truly dislike getting the tourist treatment. Luckily, our waiter was extremely pleasant and the food was tasty. I wanted to show my wife some Roman dishes, and this was a good place for this purpose. On the way out I had a nicer experience, as I had a nice chat with a lady who appeared to oversee the kitchen operations.

It is usually questionable when booking a restaurant you have never been to, especially when it is for more people. It was recommended by a TV program in Canada called “You Gotta Eat Here” a few months back and we decided to make a reservation. We were not disappointed. One member of our group started it was the best pasta dish since being in Italy! Great place.

Bel locale, servizio cortese ma con qualche clamorosa pecca ( i tre primi non sono arrivati insieme), cucina con alti e bassi. Ottime la carbonara e le fettuccine con zucchine, sufficiente la matriciana. Prezzi adeguati.

Show up at 12:20 for a 12:30 reservation and we were told that the waitstaff wasn't even dressed or ready so we should come back in 15 minutes. Food was the worst that we had in Italy over 9 days.

Todo estaba buenísimo, pero el cacio e pepe y el tiramisú son espectaculares. Muy recomendable (siempre con reserva).

Pretty poor. Not pleasant welcome and poor choice of menu. Sat us by the toilet where we had constant noise of the hand dryer. Why does it have a good reputation? It escaped us.

Good restaurant. Nice location. Good food. May be a more adventurous menu for some tourists.

Booking online was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful (we speak English). The restaurant is know for Cacio di Pepe. We ordered to share at our table of 4. It is good and probably better than what we had at other restaurants. That is not my favorite style of sauce but you must try it while in Rome. I ordered Amatriciana (tomato sauce and crispy pieces of pork cheek). I prefer tomato based sauces and this was really good. My husband ordered meatballs and those were delicious as well.

È un ibrido tra la cucina romana e quella per turisti, manca la trippa e altro della cucina romana, di gran lunga meglio Flavio. Nota positiva la gentilezza della responsabile di sala.

gradirei qualche fuori menù e qualche antipastino più sfizioso. Rispetto al solito cena leggermente sotto tono.

A wonderful evening, featuring classic Roman cuisine done perfectly, with a warm and welcoming staff and a fabulous wine list. Everything we ordered was prepared beautifully and the wine that was suggested was just right and a very good value. Excellent all around!

Osso bucca was tough but they adjusted bill Menu is seasonal so don’t look online as it probably isn’t there I salivated my taste buds only to find not on menu - lesson learnt

Really good food, delicious pasta with artichokes, helpful and friendly service, good value for price. We would definitely go again if we were in Rome.
