Spectacular views over Etna at sunset. The food was okay but this place is all about their unrivalled outlook. Take a walk up the steps from Taormina to work up an appetite.

Bel locale, vista mozzafiato. Atmosfera rilassante e cibo molto buono. Ma soprattutto cordialità e simpatia del personale. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. Ottimo il servizio di prenotazione on line.

Really beautiful views and great pizza, cheap wine and a lovely atmosphere

Location fantastica, i piatti di pesce sono molto buoni e presentati con gusto, il servizio è stato veloce, professionale e anche se il locale era pieno di gente piatti sono arrivati in tempi rapidi. Unica nota negativa la difficoltà nel trovare il parcheggio e la strada per arrivarci a piedi non è il massimo.

L’anipasto: misto frutti di mare, un piatto molto grasso, i frutti du mare serviti su patatine, topo snack.... una scella strana e mal sana del chef. L’insalata di polipo, pochissimi pezzi di polipo mescolati con patate bollite, il gusto lassciava desiderare.... Il primo: Spaghetti alle vongole, era molto buono. Il secondo : una grigliata di pesce misto, ci a dellusi. Il pesce sembrava scongelato! Avrei detto che gli alimenti sono stati piu tosto fritti che grigliati! In parte, la consistenza del pesce e stata un po « gommosa ». Il servizio : poco caloroso, senza un vero benvenuti! Mai piu ci ritorneremo!

Soddisfatto in tutte le aspettative, location favolosa, cibo ottimo con scelte di prima qualità, ottimo anche l’impiattamento e la presentazione, servizio impeccabile. Nonostante il tempo non era dei migliori serata magica.. grazie! 😊

Great meal didn’t know up 600 steps so get a taxi. Saying that I’d walk it again for a meal there it was amazing views and food to match.

Posto bellissimo con una vista spettacolare... cibo ottimo e servizio cordialissimo... abbiamo ordinato gli spaghetti ai ricci e maccheroncini alla norma e per secondo gli involtini di pesce spada...abbiamo pagato 70€ prezzo proporzionato sia alla qualità che al posto

Ottima cena in uno scenario mozzafiato, antipasti di pesce molto fresco, spaghetti allo scoglio ottimi e abbondanti, pasta con spada pinoli e uvette buonissima. Personale molto cortese.

Make sure you book a table as if you just turn up, you’ll probably be turned away like we were on our first visit, and they were quite rude about it. So we booked and gave them a second chance. The staff were friendly enough and the views were outstanding. Prices quite reasonable. However, I have Coeliac Disease so have to eat Gluten Free and I ordered the GF pizza. It was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. So dry and tasteless.

Food was good, not outstanding. Views great, but lacking a little in atmosphere. If you are staying down in the town, worth the climb, prices very reasonable.

Beautiful setting with stunning views of thr bay, attentive staff, great food, especially the fish dishes. Definitely worth travelling up to if you are staying down in the town.

The restaurant is in a wonderful position overlooking the town and beyond. Good friendly service and the food is of high quality. I would definitely recommend.

The view and the food were great! It was really worth the long climb from town. We started with a clam and mussel appetizer and then had pizza and branzino and both were cooked very well

Nice restaurant with nice view of Mount Etna. Very good and friendly service. Though not the best food in Taormina, the quality and taste was very good. Considering the unique location of the restaurant, the experience is well worth the try.

Excellent food and wine. Very good staff. Outstanding location. However, we were staying only 100 metres away. From anywhere else, a bus or taxi is required.

My partner and I very much enjoyed our dinner at Al Saraceno. We felt very welcome on arrival, and were seated at a table with breathtaking sunset views of Etna and the Ionian coast. The food itself was equally spectacular and very satisfying. The staff were very friendly and patient. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, as our experience was excellent!

Fantastic location. Great choice of food. Good wine list. Staff very helpful and attentive. Prices very acceptable. About 2 miles out of Taormina up a steep hill so you will probably need a taxi. Taxi prices are a rip off. €20 each way!

Personnel parfois distrait, plusieurs rappels pour les boissons des enfants. La vue est superbe sur la baie de Taormina. Les mets sont délicieux, la carte est variée . Bon accueil .

Vista spettacolare Etna e Taormina. Ottima grigliata mista di pesce ed un primo con salsa pomodoro finocchietto selvatico e pinoli anche ben presentata. Buona carta dei vini anche pizza. Molto gentili. Molto romantico e non eccessivamente caro.

La comida buena, el servicio bastante rápido, y el trato excelente. Para el lugar tan especial, con vistas espectaculares, y el restaurante en sí, ya descrito, no es caro: Una pizza, un plato de espagetti​, una fritura de pescado, un tiramisú, 1/2 l. de vino de la casa, una cerveza y un cortado, 70 €. Las raciones son generosas.

Esperienza eccezionale! Posto incantevole con una vista a dir poco mozzafiato! La terrazza è davvero stupenda! Ampia varietà di scelta nel menù, abbiamo preso pesce e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti dalla qualità e dalla quantità delle portate! Staff cordiale e preparato come pochi, specialmente la responsabile di sala che ha anche organizzato una piccola sorpresa con una tortina e candelina per il compleanno della mia fidanzata senza che le fosse stato espressamente richiesto! Mi sono trovata a mangiare in questo ristorante molto accogliente, con una vista panoramica mozzafiato. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti a base di pesce a dir poco squisiti e di qualità, altrettanto erano le pizze. Il personale era attento, gentile e premuroso ad ogni nostra richiesta, tanto quanto il proprietario gentile e simpatico. Sicuramente è un ristorante da consigliare.

Elegante nella sua sobrietà d'arredo, terrazza con panorama splendido che in un'unica istantanea comprende la costa taorminese, il vulcano Etna e la limitrofa Castelmola. Servizio puntale ed efficiente, buona qualità delle portate, prezzi medio-alti.

Very nice terrace, very professional and friendly service, very good food (pasta, pizza, físh, typical desserts) and a reasonable price. Not easy to reach, on foot or by car, but buses and taxis are available from and to Taormina center. Eager to repeat.

It was just okay, wouldn't go back for the food, lacked flavour and seasoning also the fish was over cooked but view was amazing though.

simple but high quality ingredients,delicious sicilian food,fresh seafood.For me one of the best between 5-7 non touristic restaurants of Taormina.A family run restaurant.We could not try pizza.But I think it could be good too.The other good pizzeria in Taormina (villa cucaro) has management problems.We waited more than one hour.They gave priorityto local people.So forget Villa zuccaro and go Al Saraceno also for pizza

Fantastico ristorante su una Terrazza panoramica che si affaccia sulla baia di Giardini Naxos. Sì mangia divinamente. Accolti con un "benvenuto" perché eravamo in anticipo. Consigliatissimo.

Ristorante con panorama bellissimo. Un po difficile da raggiungere ma ne vale la pena.si mangia benissimo ed il personale è molto attento. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del trattamento. Anche la pizza è molto buona. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

Panorama mozzafiato, personale gentile e disponibile, menù ottimo anche se la parmigiana di pesce (veramente buona) e gli gnocchi erano pochini. Prezzi accessibili. Una bella serata!

Avendo provato il Saraceno per cena: La vista è spettacolare, il servizio è stato attento e disponibile e la qualità della cena ottima. Prezzi non bassi ma nemmeno esagerati considerata la location. Consiglierei sicuramente.

Incredible view, service, and food. Highly recommended. Recommend talking the hike up especially near sunset, though the walk talks around 20 minutes from the city center.

Al Saraceno was a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and the location couldn't be better. The owner came over to our table and he was very friendly and personable. Overall a special dinner in Taormina!
