All good but the service of a man was rude

Great little restaurant. My wife had the Carbonara with pork cheeks and I had the Caccio Pepe. Both excellent. Then we shared their meatball dish which was outstanding.

We had as a group of 4 a great dinner and the staff was very pleasant.

Beautiful food in a relaxed atmosphere, the chicory in particular was fabulous!

Food was amazing as all the reviews will show. The Amatriciana was wonderful and the meatballs were the best we have ever had anywhere. Friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff were very patient and kind with my stumbling beginner Italian attempts. Lovely place and wonderful experience for our first trip to Italy.

Le problème vient pei-être de la réputation qui précède de ce restaurant qui est bardé de commentaires élogieux depuis plusieurs années. Cet établissement se devrait donc d'être à la hauteur de toutes ces notes d'appréciation. Eh bien sur les 9 plats dégustés , à peine deux d'entre eux méritaient un tant soit peu ces éloges. Et encore. De plus les notions de l'art de recevoir étaient totalement mais alors là vraiment absentes. Nous pourrions élaborer sur tous les détails entourant notre niveau de déception: Plats déposés de façon grossière sur la table, attitude rude et pourvue d'impatience envers nous, alors que la salle était vide et que nous étions arrivés tout sourires. Cuisine baclée et imprécise. Bref nous essayons vraiment de comprendre pourquoi le restaurant Osteria della Trippa reçoit tant d'éloges. Nous sommes arrivés dans ce lieu,l'esprit ouvert et curieux, avec le désir de goûter à cette cuisine traditionnelle romaine réinventée par la cheffe. Nous repartons avec cette impression de rendez-vous manqué.

Lovely place in Trastevere with great food and a cozy outdoor serving area in what is otherwise a fairly residential area. It would be nice if they could change the silverware between servings and be a little more present - but maybe it's a deliberate choise to underline a relaxed atmosphere? It is very relaxed.

Food was absolutely amazing and the was service was fine. The outdoor seats were just comfortable enough. The English menus were printed on printer paper, pretty crumpled, a bit dirty, and format and font made it difficult to read. I’d come back and I’d recommend to a friend.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming, the chef/owner even came to see how everything was going on a few occasions throughout our supper - the woman is an absolute gem. Dining room is intimate, nothing that will wow you, which adds to the charm and authenticity. As for the food; phenomenal Lazio/Roman cuisine, to die for. Some very delicate starters intertwined with powerful mains and on point deserts makes this a truly memorable experience. Amazing bang for the buck compared to other restaurants throughout the city.

Parecía que no sabían de mi reservación. No es un menú ampli pero lo que ofrecen es riquísimo. Son muy atentos y pacientes. La pasta cacio pepe al dente se saborean ingredientes de calidad y un buen sazón. La tripa rica pero había algo que no terminaban de cuadrar para darle un 10. Olvidaron que se llevaron mi cuchillo y no trajeron otro. Ésta cocina necesita una mejor ubicación ya que en general les doy un 8.5/10
