Il cameriere ( Francesco) molto disponibile e professionale. Essendo in 10 abbiamo cenato in una stanza occupata solo da noi e ciò ha permesso di creare una atmosfera fanatica insieme al buon cibo e al buon vino consigliatoci. Bellissima esperienza da fare se si è qui a Firenze qualche giorno. Molto consigliato nonostante il costo.

Good points - Wait staff was friendly, owners daughter went around to each table and asked how the dining experience was. Bad points - Non Italian guests are seated inp the very back room, past all the wine storage, which was very cold. Prices are quite high yet food quality was no better than other local restaurants and portion sizes were small. Must make a reservation with a credit card guarantee and will be charged for no shows. Overall not worth the price.

Third time in Florence, third time in Bucamario! Thank you for the T-bone and Chianti Classico Riserva, great olive oil and balsamic, and most of all, the cheerful and friendly waiters. I hope it will be there for a long time and I look forward to visiting again.

Everything we had was delicious. We had the riboleto , the pappardelle with wild boar ragu and the Florentino Bistecca for 4 with roasted potatoes and asparagus, along with a fantastic wine. Services was exceptional. I would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was not up to our expectations. We were very surprised by how such a popular restaurant could go so wrong with Italian food, and was also over priced for the quantity and quality served. Overall, very disappointing. Will not recommend coming here again.

Bella location, ottimo il cibo e buon servizio. Conto da pagare fuori da ogni logica. 270 euro (135 a testa, eravamo in due) per un antipasto toscano in condivisione (3 crostini e 4 fette di Parma), una bistecca con contorno (patate) in condivisione e un dolce (crostata di frutta) sempre in condivisione, una mezza bottiglia di vino, una bottiglia di acqua e due caffè. Sinceramente una trappola per turisti, da fiorentino mi aspetterei un trattamento diverso. Non ci rimetterò piede.

Met 3 gaan eten. 1e hoofdgerecht kwam. De andere 2 moesten we naar vragen. Die kwam zo laat dat 1 persoon al klaar was. Mijn biefstuk was mega doorbakken terwijl red was gevraagd. Toen wilde ze nieuwe geven maar duurde zo lang dat de 2e persoon al klaar was. Toen maar laten zitten steak maar niet gegeten. Ze maken de prijzen mega duur tijdens de Pitti. Volgende week zijn ze veel lager. Fiorentina steak moet je € 65 voor betalen. Ga hier nooit meer naar toe.

Het eten was perfect, maar we hadden de aperitief nog niet op en de primo piatti was er al, halfweg kwamen ze al met het hoofdgerecht. Wel niet aangenaam zo eten want nog voor middernacht met oudjaar sta je zo op straat. Wel jammer voor zo een mooie zaak!

This is an amazing place to have dinner, I really recommend the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, just beware that the portions are very big. Desserts are awesome too

100/10, the food and service exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend and I visited from California and would definitely come eat here again during our next visit. Must try, but also NEED a reservation! There is a line for reservations but it goes by quickly and nearly everyone was seated promptly on time.

Very pleasant dinner with wonderful food and great service from Nicola and the entire team. This was Christmas Eve. A late seating (9:30 pm). From the moment we walked in the recognition and service was great. The two starters were the two pastas with truffles (Cappellacci and Taglierini). Both excellent. For mains: The Filets of our choice were Filetto Griglia and Filetto Pepe Verde. Both cooke medium rare and fork tender. Finally a shared tiramisu with some Passitto, perfect finish. Always a very satisfying dinner at Buca Mario.

The food was pretty good. Amazing? No, but quite enjoyable. Unfortunately we ordered two different fillets medium rare, and they both came out looking as rare as the Florentine steak at the table next to us. Maybe the chefs only know one way to cook a steak? The ribollita was very good!

Had a great experience overall. It is no mystery why this eatery has been around as long as it has. The staff was knowledgeable regarding the menu and attentive despite being quite busy. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the tables were situated a little too close together for my comfort, which is the only reason Buca Mario’s did not get my highest rating overall.

Un po' freddo la temperatura nel locale , seppur ci fossero i condizionatori accesi , forse perché eravamo in una saletta un po' isolata. Nel complesso però molto gentili educati i camerieri . Cibo buono, piatti abbondanti.
