Our waiter was excellent, and most helpful. The food was delicious. And we had the greatest time. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!!!

Amazing quality of the food, but at a certain cost. For sure, it is recommended.

Be sure to arrive earlier than your reservation time because even with the reservation confirmed you still have to queue. Food was great especially the pasta. The meat was too much for me 😁 dessert was awesome too, the waiter will push the trolley and present varieties of dessert they have on that day. I must say the service was five star especially Aldo our waiter of the day. He was very attentive and sang very well. Bravo Aldo 🧡

Florentine steak was tasty, but a bit too raw and lacked stove serving to keep it warm. Tiramisu was very tasty, but savoyardi was a bit dry. Great old-fashioned place, worth visiting

Most of the food we had was amazing. The mashed potato + fresh truffle and grilled porcini mushrooms were simply divine. However, the T-bone steak just didn’t work. When you have such a massive piece of rare steak, something needs to be done about the flavor of the inner portions of the meat that aren’t cooked. Some type of sauce would have elevated the dish immensely. The beef they use is also not fit to be cooked like that, as it is way too lean. Overall, I would say this restaurant serves great food, as I noticed some other great dishes going to other tables as well. I would advise anyone wanting to try this restaurant to get anything but the T-bone steak.

The most overrated experience in the city. Meat wasn't tender at all. Personnel very attentive but food quality will not reach your expectations.

Casou perfeitamente com o vinho Vinho Tenuta Guado al Tasso Cont’Ugo da Antinori sugerido pelo cameriere Niccoló. Recomendo o Ristorante Buca Mario e, com certeza, retornarei.

I went there with my family from Japan. the service and food was really good and even owner came to greeting us and gave my mum special Buca mario Aprons we will highly recommend who love good service and good quality food. but it's better to book in advance I will visit soon with my wife next time

I celebrated my birthday at Buca Mario. They could not have been nicer. The menu had a wide variety of dishes that all looked wounderful. To say the portions were large is an understatement. Being in Florence we had the Steak Flourintine. It was huge and very tasty. The service was excellent.

I had been waiting 16 years to come back to this place and it was better than I remembered. The wait times are non existent if you have a reservation. I can’t say what it would be like if you didn’t but they fill up quick. The service was amazing. We were greeted by everyone working there individually as we walked in. The atmosphere was nice except for the non locals that were sitting behind us speaking loudly about how much student debt they me paid off, who slept with who and what designer bad they were planing on buying. Leave it to us Americans to come somewhere else and embarrass ourselves. Everything else was perfect, rustic, and delicious. The florentine steak is the way to go if you can handle it.

We had a wonderful dinner. The waiters were very kind. The food was delicious. The pasta, lasagna and meat were really excellent. We loved the desserts. Thank you Buca Mario.

The food was okay, expensive but at least big portions. But the noise level was crazy, lots of people crammed in and all tourists at the back with no soft furnishings to absorb the very loud noise. The locals seem to get tables at the front of the restaurant which was a lot quieter. I would not return
