It was great food, great atmosphere and really great service

We were so happy to go back to Boca Mario, a restaurant we have been to before. Sadly, this trip was disappointing.Over-crowded, lack luster service, servers looking to turn tables over quickly. Food was only ok.

The staff felt very judgy. Both my lasagna and my fiance's pasta were served cold. The wait time wasn't too long, but the food was still cold. That can't be a good sign.

First class service and an outstanding meal. Buca Mario came recommended from a friend in the states and it was more than we expected. Prices were very reasonable for what you get. A great value, one my family will never forget.

We had the pleasure of having Barbato aka Nick serve our family of 8 for what was a most stupendous experience. The food was beyond delicious but the service was exceptional. What a memorable evening all around. Cannot say enough about the food and service! Thank you 😍

Great experience! My husband and I shared gorgonzola gnocchi, Florentine steak and mashed potatoes and everything was so good! Honestly if you have two people the steak for one is enough if your sharing other food. I highly recommend!

Quando si passa a Firenze e si riesce a stare fuori per cena, è consigliato fermarsi a Buca Mario per esperienza eccellente. Cucina ottima e servizio al tavolo un vero plus.

Great service. Lasagna and tomato bread "soup" were both excellent. Beef carpaccio was light on beef and heavy on mushrooms if you like that - not for me. Biggest disappointment was the lamb chops that were dry and overdone despite us asking for rare. Asparagus was overdone as well. Dessert was very tasty at least.

Table charge of 5 euros PER PERSON. Lasagna cost 28 euros and a seafood pasta for 28 euros... Restaurants in Italy serve tap water by default. This restaurant serves you Sanpellegrino or Aqua Panna by default. The bill came out to 70 euros... 70 euros for a lasagna, a pasta and a bottle of water.

Very quick service, we were in the door within minutes. The food was fantastic, we had the florentine steak and lasagna. Left so full and satisfied. Definitely recommend

The food was really delicious, but the waiters were extremely rude. They shamelessly asked for tips even though they didn’t do anything special. When showing me to my seat, they just stared at my face for a few seconds without even greeting me. Ridiculous. I also read in other reviews that they only treat people nicely if they’re from a culture where tipping is common, and I think that’s true.

Food was delicious particularly liked to Mushrooms Salad and Pappardelle Wild Board, unbelievable. Portions are large so a few pasta to share would be a good idea for a group. Service was also excellent would highly recommend Buca Mario
