Loved it. Great Italian experience. Good food and good atmosphere. Not among all the tourists.

This restaurant is amazing. Its classic Roman dishes are superb. We had the veal a la romana and caccio e Pepe. For appetizers the stuffed zucchini flowers and the famous artichokes. The waiters are very professional and welcoming.

L’accueil est bon, le service est irréprochable, mais malheureusement je crois que l’institution se meurt… trop cher pour la qualité des plats et la quantité dans l’assiette est vraiment ridicule. 16€ une tête d’artichaut / 25€ pour 5 raviolis ricotta épinard dans l’assiette et dont la garniture manquait cruellement de fraîcheur. Tout étaient bon. Mais rien ne valait le prix.

Ambiance traditionnelle charmante et désuète en même temps. L’artichaut est très bon. Les portions manquent de générosité. Les pâtes d'un des convives étaient un peu froides et je n’ai jamais eu mon café. On a beaucoup attendu le dessert. On ne se sentait pas bienvenu.

Food and wine is ok service not so good. Dessert was so upsetting Two kids willing to their Gelato and the portion is unacceptable.

If you visit Rome it's absolutely necessary also to visit the restaurant Piperno! Fantastic the carxofi a la giudia, and you can combine with other delicious proposals. Fantastic experience. Great.

Beautiful place. But obviously it has had better days in the past. I guess this is a new management. Unfriendly waiter and bad wine by the glass. All food needed salt, even their ravioli ai spinaci. Tortino di baccalà con carciofi was completely tasteless. Only the carciofo alla romana was acceptable. Creme caramel must have been made two days before and very weird taste. Did not even finish it. The tablecloth had holes in its ends Not acceptable for what they charge. I really regret the money I paid. A primo, a secondo, two glasses of wine, coffee and a desert cost me 95 euros.

Gentili e simpatici. Buono il carciofo alla giudea ed il freschissimo tiramisù. Ho chiesto una carbonara e mi hanno portato una gricia, non proprio quello che volevo. Comunque hanno rimediato all’errore non mettendola in conto. Bravi e li ringrazio ancora.

The ambiance of the restaurant was fine but the food was not what we expected. We expected the reputation of this place to be excellent and now, here we are, having another dinner down the street to make up for the substandard food we had at Piperno. We don’t complain, we pay and move on but you asked so there it is.

Non andavo da Piperno dagli anni '80 e sono tornato molto, molto volentieri. Ovviamente gli faremo visita anche l'anno prossimo :-) Gli "storici" ristoranti che però mantengono la loro "allure" e qualità, sia di pietanze/ingredienti che di servizio e gentilezza. Piperno semper !
