Unfortunately the food was just average compared to all other restaurant we have visited over the past 9 days. We were charged for bread x2 even though it was not ordered. I would be fine with the bread charge aside from the fact we were provided with an empty bottle of olive oil. I ordered a mixed salad & when I let the waitress know the olive oil was empty she attempted to prove a point that there was some left in the bottle by tipping it upside down for about eight seconds & approximately 4 drips came out for my salad. I didn’t ask for a few drips of olive oil, I requested another bottle. Therefore, I did not care to have any bread w/o olive oil & my salad just tasted of vinegar. Service was below average.

Food was great and the value was good. Service was very poor. No one gave us menus or asked for our drink order. We weren’t asked for our food order for 30 minutes. Then every request, e.g. drink menu or cheque, took too long and we had to ask several times. We never got the wine list even though I asked for it twice.

Υπέροχο εστιατόριο. Ωραίος χώρος, άψογη και γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση με ευγένεια. Το φαγητό........ τέλειο!!!!! Φάγαμε cacio e pepe και καρμπονάρα, πατάτες φούρνου και σαλάτα. Πραγματικά ήταν τέλεια. Ποιοτικά και φρέσκα υλικά. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε!

We have been to Italy a number of times. All over. We love everything from the street food pizza to the finest dining - traditional and current expressions. This restaurant is truly the worst food and service we have experienced. We expect slow service. That is Italy and we do not expect USA quick service. However, we do not expect to be ignored in favor of tables right next to us who arrive 10 minutes after we do. Now on to the food, which was the real problem. Try to imagine a Cacio e Pepe with the consistency of overcooked ramen and no flavor. They have the nerve to present a carbonara that I can only describe as a salty, gloppy mess. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. If you think you are going to find authentic Roman food here since it is out of the main tourist areas, you are sorely mistaken.

Il cibo ci è piaciuto in generale, abbiamo preso un antipasto, tonnarelli, polpette e patate, ma il servizio può migliorare: hanno portato l’antipasto (che dividevamo) senza i piatti, che sono arrivati quando ormai lo avevamo finito; poi è arrivato il secondo prima del primo, volevano lasciarcelo comunque ma gli abbiamo detto di no, che prima mangiavamo il primo (non lasciamo il secondo a freddarsi) diciamo un po’ di confusione. Però in generale buono!
