Ottima cucina, prezzi giusti, proprio dietro al Teatro Marcello.. assolutamente consigliato!

Delicious lunch. The front room with views of the neighborhood is best.

We had great time during lunch. We loved the food, the ambiance and the service. Visiting the toilet of the restaurant also is part of the experience. If possible do not go there, or do after finishing eating. This is also one of your restaurant faces, so I cannot understand how it can be showed to the guests in it's state.

We visited Gigetto Al Portico d’Ottavia last year on our vacation. This year, we went to a different restaurant in The Jewish Ghetto and were disappointed so I made sure I reserved Al Portico for our last night in Italy and it even surpassed the excellent food and service of last year! We will visit them every time we visit Rome!

abbiamo apprezzato tutti i piatti ordinati fettuccine ai carciofi, pajata, carciofi alla giudia, parmigiana, fiori di zucca e filetto di baccalà, crostata di ricotta e visciole, unica nota negativa il fritto misto di verdure non sufficientemente croccante; location semplice, prezzi leggermente alti, servizio adeguato alla tipologia del locale. Buono il vino bianco della casa.

Great location and great food. Best is to sit outside.

la maggior parte delle cose che abbiamo scelto dal menu non c’erano: terminato tutto il pesce, niente puntarelle, macchina del caffè già spenta… era meglio chiudessero prima. Mai vista una tale mancanza di professionalità… una vera delusione…

Buon ristorante di cucina giudaico romana. Buoni i carciofi alla giudia e i fiori di zucca ripieni e fritti. Discreto rapporto qualità-prezzo, ma si paga l posizione centrale lungo il Tevere

Ambiance of a traditional Restaurent’s, a great waiter who showed us how to prepare artichokes, excellant Sant Angelo red and of course fried artichokes! The rest of the meal was good but one plate had cooled before serving.

Everyone loved the meal they ordered! Funny family friendly atmosphere. Only down side was getting a taxi to go back to our hotel. It took about 45 minutes.

October fest going on next door was a bit loud during the first part of our meal. The food was great, but our waiter was not the most friendly.

A very enjoyable and delicious dining experience in a beautiful spot!

The fried artichokes did not disappoint. My wife had the baked cannelloni and I had the Bucatini Amatriciana pasta. Both dishes were excellent. The service was as well very good and very professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was simply amazing from the service, atmosphere and the food. Truly amazing and highly recommend. We enjoyed the beautiful back patio.

Good overall . I was confused about the bill because they didn’t add a service charge to the bill like is customary so I wasn’t sure what to do or if they excluded it because we are American in hopes of getting a bigger service “tip” than is normal. Just stick to what’s traditional to avoid confusion.

Vista splendida! Porzioni abbondanti. Si consigliano i carciofi alla giudia ma anche i cannelloni e l’abbacchio.
