Ristorante Piperno

Tutto eccellente. Carciofi alla giudia buonissimi. Ma anche carbonara, cacio e pepe e gnocchetti amatricina. Ottimi anche i dessert. Buona carta dei vini. Servizio puntuale e veloce. Consigliatissimo.

We wanted to eat mainly artichoke but we're a bit directed wrong by the waiter so ended up eating some dishes (fried cod fish/ox-tail) which did not suit our eating habits & taste & too much fried food...also the restaurant's conditioning may work better to clean the air which was smelling fried good...rgds...

Comme toujours les artichauts à la juive étaient délicieux et les fleurs de courgette farcies aussi. Service égal à lui-même, traditionnel et professionnel. Bref une valeur sûre. Merci

Benissimo cibo buono cortesia e professionalità . Sì lo conoscevo già ma mi ha confermato essere di alto livello. I fritti rimangono il loro punto di forza e la crostata di marmellata di arance amare era bonissima

Ottimo ristorante: eccellenti i carciofi e le puntarelle. I secondi squisiti. buonissimo il creme caramel. Metodo di prenotazione comodissimo ed efficiente. E poi il ghetto di Roma è un posto molto suggestivo. CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

We had a lovely dinner at Piperno. The food was delicious and the staff were very efficient. We had the plate of fried cheese and vegetables to start. For dinner we had the steak, mixed fried seafood , Dauber fish ( Gilt head) and a terrific salad. We would highly recommend this elegant yet cozy place.

Ottimo ristorante ! Carciofo alla giudea e abbacchio scottadito strepitosi ! Location calda e formale con splendidi quadri .Consiglio caldamente . Non economico ma ne vale la pena !

Cucina romana tradizionale, ambiente molto simpatico. Pocchi sono purtroppo sopravissuti i ristoranti di questo tipo a Roma. Cibo e vini di qualità. Servizio perfetto. Torneremo.

Restaurant in the old Jewish sector with a local feel. Very kind, attentive service. Several of the dishes merit a visit, notably the (justifiably) famous carcioffi (artichokes).

This was my second time at Ristorante Piperno, and both times everything was excellent. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Food was beautifully prepared and presented. Service was excellent.

Buon cibo, vino spettacolare, gentilezza e cura. Abbiamo mangiato un tortino di baccalà e degli gnocchi con salsa di formaggio fantina. Da ripetere e ritornare.

This restaurant is one I always want to visit when I am in Rome. It is superb and not too expensive. I want to return many, many times. My guests all felt the same.

Ristorante storico servizio gentile ed attento purtroppo i carciofi come spiegato da cameriere non sono ancora quelli romani pertanto sono risultati pungenti. Primi buoni e secondi ancora più buoni. Prezzo commisurato al locale e alla sua fama. Bella esperienza .

Vado da Piperno da tantissimi anni, non mi delude mai! Ambiente classico e confortevole, fritti ottimi. Cucina ottima. I carciofi alla giudia sono meravigliosi. È bello poter contare su un ristorante che mantiene intatta la tradizione della cucina romana.

Come sempre ottime pietanze e pregevole servizio. I miei ospiti invitati alla cena, che non erano mai stati in questo ristorante, sono rimasti ottimamente colpiti dal luogo e dal cibo.

Locale accogliente, fritti eccellenti (carciofo alla giudìa, filetto di baccalà, fiori di zucca e supplì meravigliosi). Il servizio è ottimo, una buona carta dei vini.

Rapporto qualità prezzo non è soddisfacente la cantina varia ma vini cari e non giustificati,dessert poca varietà e banali dato il livello della casa .buon lavoro

Piatti incredibilmente buoni e servizio eccellente. Il locale è suggestivo e in una posizione ottima, perché nascosto da una stradina rispetto al flusso turistico sempre importante. Da tornarci!

Un muy buen restaurante con una atención inmejorable. La comida muy muy buena. El precio un poco elevado, pero meceré la pena, sobre todo las alcachofas!!

Excellent food, but average service. We tried the gnocchis and spinach ravioli and both were delicious. But we waited around 15 minutes to order and then around 20 minutes to pay at the end. Overall it is a good restaurant, very recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed the food and the interior of the restaurant. The lower rating is because our waiter brought someone else's food to our table two times before our order was correctly delivered. I was never asked about another glass of wine as my wineglass sat on the table --empty for last half of meal. Our finished plates sat for 10 minutes before being cleared away. It was a disappointment to have the service end of the experience leave a negative feeling with us.

Fabulous food, great service, and in a great location in the city. We had the artichoke antipasti, which were spectacular, the gnocchi, and the Agnolotti - all of which I would go back to eat if I have the chance. Grazie.

Accogliente, personale gentile, ottimo cibo. Tradizione e qualità all'altezza delle aspettative. Unico neo un menù poco vario, senza spazio per le novità. Giudizio comunque positivo.

Poor service, indifferent food. Manager seems indifferent to other than his regular customers. Would not dine here again. Could not recommend to others unless you go just to be seen.

Service was great. Food was excellent! The carciofi and fiori di zucca were very good as well. Enjoyed the total experience! If your in town I’d recommend you try it out!

Just ok. Overpriced. Service was good but not better than many other places that we have dined in Italy. Portions were very small for the price and were not outstanding in flavor. The fried artichokes were interesting in that I have never eaten an entire artichicke before because of the texture and fibrousness. But these were deep fried until there was nothing tender about them. Pure crunch and the flavor of oil. Interesting, but not delicious. I think some reviewers got confused by the pricey-ness of the restaurant and the white jacketed servers. Maybe they were intimidated into thinking the food must be “stupendous” due to the “fluff”. This restaurant was not bad, but it just was not wonderful either. My husband did enjoy his steak, but we had one much bigger and more delicious with a bone in it for a much better price at a different restaurant in Italy.

Situato in una piazzetta tranquilla e non trafficata Locale dal sapore antico , personale cortese ed allegro ma soprattutto il cibo eccellente come sempre .

Plats fins et vins de grande qualité. C'était très bon et le service était irréprochable. J'y retournerai lors de ma prochaine venue à Rome. Viva Italia !

Lovely service, we enjoyed our lunch on the quiet terrace. The food was excellent, I highly recommend the carciofi alla giuda and the carbonara. Will come back if I'm in Rome.

This is a very good ristorante. Food, service, atmosphere is top class, especially with an outside table. In a quiet pretty piazza. A Roman highlight. Artichokes especially good.

Il locale è molto appartato , in una piazzetta silenziosa ma con auto parcheggiate a qualche metro dai tavoli. I clienti vengono fatti attendere in piedi all'esterno sotto il sole fino al minuto esatto di apertura (12.45) previa catenella che impedisce l'accesso. Il srvizio è veloce ma alquanto impersonale, nessun saluto all'uscita dopo aver pagato il conto. Piatti normali, 2 carciofi alla giudia 15 euro. Presentazione dei piatti nulla. Ottimo il dessert Palle di nonno. Non tornerei in quanto l'impressione è quella che ci si voglia liberare del cliente il più velocemente possibile e quando avverto questa sensazione mi sento a disagio. Peccato data la fama del luogo.

Food was ok, nothing special, but a low point comes because of waiters thinking clients don’t understand Italian or just the plain fact you don’t stand next to people and discuss about your clients next to them in another language. Unacceptable client service.

Charming restaurant in a quiet square near the river. Staff are friendly if a bit formally dressed. Food is exceptional and great wine choice. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
